We will have the grill going with burgers and hot dogs.

Frisbee golf course
We will provide 12 frisbees and feel free to bring your own if you like. We will layout a small 9 hole course for both young and old.

Scavenger hunt
Explore and discover a world of living things during this scavenger hunt in the park. Children, teens and grownups will be challenged to look for many things that might be found in the park, like rocks, leaves, nests, frogs, insects and much more.  Prizes for the most items found in the shortest time!

First annual Spring cookie contest
So you think you can bake!? If so, join our 1st Annual Cookie Baking Contest for the ultimate neighborhood bragging rights!
You're invited to bring 2 dozen (or more) of your best homemade (nut-free) cookies to share. Prizes will be awarded for:
- Best cookie by a kid (16 and under, parent kitchen supervision encouraged)
- Most creative
- Best overall

There will be a table with ETR’s very own Kathy Dismukes. Celebrate Earth Day! Stop by the RiverRenew table to learn about Alexandria's project to stop tens of millions of gallons of raw sewage from flowing into the Potomac and to understand the coming AlexRenew rate increases.
